The Road to Graduation: Honoring the Class of 2026 Top 10- #5 Findlay Smith

After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Cincinnati, where she has been awarded the Chaudhry Family Scholarship awarding her with a full ride. This honor will cover her tuition, fees, housing, and meal plan during her time at UC. Additionally, she was awarded the Governor’s Merit Scholarship, the Hamilton Community Foundation Scholarship, and the Tina’s Angel Scholarship. At UC, Findlay will pursue her passion of health, planning to major in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Throughout her high school career, Findlay has demonstrated an incredible ability to balance academics, activities, and work. She has been actively involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, Track and Field, and HOSA. In addition, she has maintained part-time jobs since her freshman year while also completing dual enrollment coursework through Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. This week, she will earn her Ohio Transfer 36 certificate, giving her a strong head start on her college journey.

Findlay would like to thank her family, classmates, coaches, and teammates for their support throughout the years. She also shares a special thank you to her sister, Reghan, and her best friend, Ava, for their constant encouragement and advice.

Some of Findlay’s favorite high school memories include attending school dances, enjoying team meals after track meets, and competing in HOSA events alongside her best friend.
