Edgewood City School District Receives Ohio Auditor of State Award

Edgewood City School District is proud to announce that it has once again received the Auditor of State Award from the Ohio Auditor of State's Office. This prestigious recognition is given to local governments and school districts that maintain "clean" audit reports and demonstrate excellence in financial reporting. Fewer than 13% of all audited Ohio entities receive this award.

Celebrating Hard Work and Dedication

This achievement stems from the incredible commitment and hard work of our financial team and staff. Their work to keep our records accurate and meet the highest standards does not go unnoticed. This repeat recognition truly highlights the consistent professionalism of our team and their commitment to fiscal integrity.

A Commitment to Our Community

Maintaining "clean financial books" is vital to ensuring transparency and accountability to our community. By meeting these strict criteria for this award - which include timely financial filings and audits free of material weaknesses or findings for recovery - we demonstrate our commitment to being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.

This work ensures that our resources are managed effectively, allowing us to remain focused on our primary mission: providing an exceptional education for every student in our district.
