Posted Date: 05/13/26 (02:30 PM)

Today we proudly recognize our Salutatorian, Binisha Adhikari!A young person sits outdoors, holding a blue pennant that says "SMITH COLLEGE".

After graduation, Binisha will attend Smith College, where she will major in Biochemistry and minor in Computer Science. She has earned a full-ride scholarship through the QuestBridge National College Match. With these opportunities, Binisha plans to continue her education by pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry, with goals of contributing to research in genetics and drug development.

Binisha would like to thank her parents for their unwavering support and sacrifices, always ensuring she had what she needed to succeed. She also expresses gratitude to her lacrosse team for helping her grow as a communicator and teammate, and to Ms. Erb and her teachers for preparing her for college and beyond.

Throughout high school, Binisha has been deeply involved in leadership and extracurricular activities. She has served as a representative for National Honor Society and Student Council, competed as a varsity member of the girls’ lacrosse team, and led HOSA as its president. Her dedication to HOSA has led her to qualify for state competitions for three consecutive years in Biotechnology, and she will represent her school at the international level this year in Indianapolis.

Some of Binisha’s favorite high school memories include time spent with friends in chemistry class, field trips to Atrium Hospital, bus rides to lacrosse games, learning experiences from early competitions, and helping organize blood drives each year.

Congratulations, Binisha, on this incredible achievement! We are proud of you and excited to see all that you accomplish in the future!
