Service Academy Information Night Edgewood High School's Media Center March 6th, from 5:00-7:00 pm An event for students, parents, and school counselors to discover the educational and career opportunities available at the U.S.Service Academies. Learn about these “Ivy League”-level scholarships that will set you on the path to leadership and service to your country. No age minimums – 8th grade and older will benefit from these events. College Credit Plus: Summer classes will have until Fri. March 1st to apply to Cincinnati State!! Also, students interested in CCP for 2024/25, MUST turn in an Intent to Participate form by April 1st. If no form on file, then you will NOT be able to take CCP next school year. See your counselor for questions.

ACT State/District Testing Tues. 2/27: Juniors only Attend School that Day from 7:25 - 11:00 am. (No school for grades 9, 10, 12). Items to bring: Calculator (ACT calculator policy), Snack, Water Bottle, Jacket. Do not bring: Cell phones, smart watches, electronic devices. These items should be left in your locker, car, or completely turned off and stored out of sight. Please note: students with extended time will be dismissed after 11:00 AM, depending on their accommodations. Bus transportation provided at normal time. Students may leave at 11:00 am if they have arranged transportation and testing is completed.

Senior photos for the yearbook and graduation slideshow are due by 11:59 PM next Friday, March 1 to the Class of 2024 Google Classroom. Photos will NOT be accepted after that date. Reach out to Guehring, Sullivan, McKenna before the deadline if you have any questions!

EHS Parking: New drivers and drivers that still need a parking pass, please read your email after 5:00 p.m. today in regards to our parking policy and the parking application process for semester 2.

Did You Know that the Edgewood City School District provides employment opportunities for many employees on a substitute basis? We currently have nearly 60 substitutes working in the district. Last night at Edgewood’s board meeting, a $1.00 per hour increase for all substitute secretaries, paraprofessionals, health specialists, cook’s helpers, maintenance, and bus drivers was approved. This increase makes us more competitive with other businesses in the area. If you are interested in becoming a substitute for the district, please email your interest to Alesia Beckett, Director of Human Resources at alesia.beckett@edgewoodschools.net, or stop by the Edgewood Board of Education office, 3500 Busenbark Road, Trenton, OH 45067, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM for a walk-in interview.
