Posted Date: 08/31/26 (02:30 PM)

Edgewood Families,

A lot of exciting events occurred during our first Friday Night Football game.

First, we honored the 1976 MML Championship football team and coaches.

Chad Pergram was in town and we recognized him during the game. Chad is Chief Congressional Correspondent for Fox News in Washington, DC. He is a native of Jacksonburg, graduating in 1987 from EHS. As a reporter for the Cougar Prints (newspaper), he covered approximately 150 Edgewood sporting events, ranging from football to basketball to women’s gymnastics. He was a four-year letterman in soccer and was co-captain his senior year. As goalkeeper, Chad was part of Edgewood’s first soccer team in 1983. He was also an active member of Thespian Troupe #591, acting and singing in dozens of Edgewood productions. He has covered Congress for more than three decades and holds an undergraduate and master’s degree from Miami University (OH).
