Recently EMS 7th Grade STEM students visited Bilstein in Hamilton. Bilstein follows the Design Process that is taught by Mr. Poehner in his 7th Grade STEM classes. Students are able to see sketching, design briefs, testing, and evaluating of product prototypes to meet their client's needs. All stages of manufacturing leading up to product shipping are visible in one location. Bilstein is a very student friendly environment. They plan activities for students to apply what they learn from shocks to a design of their own in class. They also establish time for students to interact with their employees to discuss their job, background, education and experience.
