Spirit Week at EMS

Mrs. Roberts' 7th grade science students are learning about relative positions and patterns of the Earth and sun which cause the seasons.

Mrs. Wiggins Community Service group had the opportunity to set up for the Santa Shop, lead character building activities in several 3rd and 4th grade classrooms, and have lunch with their 3rd grade Pen Pals. This was a great learning experience for our Middle School students as they demonstrated being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind!

EMS White Christmas food drive

Mr. Poehner's 7th grade Design and Modeling class invited parents and family in while students showcased their builds so far this semester.

6th Grade Community Service students met with their EPS Cougar Buddies. They did a lesson on being thankful and made a banner to hang up at EPS. They also read a holiday book together before the 6th grades helped set up the EPS Santa Shop.
The community service crew also made holiday bookmarks and puzzles for the EMS library and the Midpointe Trenton library.

EMS will be collecting items to donate to the area in North Carolina that was hit terribly by the recent hurricane, Helene. We are collecting items such as: toothbrushes, tooth paste, laundry detergent, antibacterial soap, sanitizer, flashlights, batteries, first aid items, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, baby wipes, trash bags, and gloves. Please bring all items to the school by Wednesday, October 9th and place them in the large bins in the front lobby. Thanks for your support!
