Nicole Condrey and Mike Dredge from Team Fastrax of Middletown (a Professional Skydiving Team), visited EMS to work with our 7th grade Community Service Club. They talked to the students about team building and the importance of working together. They also discussed how they honor military personnel and why it is important to their team. This was a great experience for our students to interact with these speakers and to reflect on their many accomplishments they made this year in the Community Service Club.

Last weekend the High School Band took a trip to the Music in the Parks festival and performed an adjudicated concert. After that, they had a fantastic day at Cedar Point to celebrate their hard work and dedication! We are so proud of them. It is good to see these hard-working students have this experience and build memories together!

The Edgewood Middle School Fine Arts Team will be holding The 16th Annual Fine Arts Festival, May 4th from 6-8pm. The event will take place at the Edgewood Middle School Cougar Lobby and Auditorium. Caden Murray has been selected as a winner of the Liberty Mutual Scholarship. Pursuant to an Agreement with National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), this Special Scholarship award is sponsored by Liberty Mutual Scholarship Foundations. Special Scholarships are underwritten by many of the business organizations that also provide Merit Scholarship awards for students who qualify as Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. These corporate sponsors wish to offer a fixed number of awards each year for students who meet their specified criteria. Winners of Special Scholarships are chosen based on their academic accomplishments from a pool of candidates who fulfilled the sponsor's criteria and scored high on the 2021 PSAT/NNSQT. Caden Murray is an extremely talented student who participates in many extracurricular activities at Edgewood High School. He is currently participating in the Spring Musical, is a member of the Edgewood Choraliers, and can play five instruments! Caden Murray plans on attending Miami University beginning this Fall, where he will major in Chemistry. Congratulations Caden!
